Whitney Academy is a unique, Joint Commission accredited, residential treatment center, serving adolescent boys with cognitive delays, psychiatric diagnoses and behavior problems. Individuals in this position provide direct services and create a positive difference in the lives of children with special needs.

Whitney Academy offers many benefits to its employees such as: $2,100.00 SIGN-ON BONUS, work stipends, free gym membership, paid time off, and annual increases! We are currently accepting applications for our intensive treatment programs located in Dighton, Assonet and Freetown, Massachusetts.

Direct Care Staff _3rd Shift (10:30-9:00am)

Responsibilities:

  • Make a difference in a Child's Life

  • Mentor Adolescents with their Life Skills Development

  • 1 to 4 Staff to Student Ratios on 3rd Shift

Requirements:

  • Communicates well in both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment with coworkers and supervisors
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Candidates must possess a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and a Valid Driver’s license
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university - preferred but not necessary (specific experience when applicable may be substituted)
  • RMV and background CORI checks are required
