Job description

JOB TITLE: Lab Spares Technician

Responsibilities include:

Scan room for new items

Record orphans/Update WOSM

Scan room for missing items

Record retrievals (daily audits)

Check Pending Actions in WOSM

Audit orphans: Send out aging orphans

Audit orphans: Convert them to WOSM

Outbound material: Follow up on 3D forms

Outbound material: Escalate up on 3D forms

Outbound material: Send out items (72 hours)

WOSM Sweep/Audit for missing boxes

Update WOSM

Reorganize Room as needed: Labels, paperwork, WOSM locations (Housekeeping)

BU Inbound/Drop Off: Log material to WOSM

BU Inbound/Drop Off: Log material to Orphan

BU Requests Support: Find parts in staging

BU Requests: Pull parts to the MOD doors

BU Requests: Pull consumables from RCR

BU Requests: Pull consumables no RCR

BU Requests: Find parts for a project (spare search)

    • Lab Spares Tech – Days M-F 8:30am to 5pm
    • Lab Spares Tech – Swing M-F 12:30pm to 9pm

*NOTE- "Swing" Shift pays an additional 10% on top of your base salary

You will be considered for a Level 1 up to a Level 3 for this position based on experience

  • Additional remarks regarding work environment: Chemical hazards are primarily mitigated through engineering controls, but some uncontrolled chemicals from incidental spills requiring cleanup evaluation may require use of respirator and other PPE.
  • You must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including protective eye wear, a hard hat, lab coat, gloves, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, and respirators.
  • Must be able to safely access and traverse indoor and outdoor obstacles for site inspections, including climbing ladders, walking on stairs, catwalks, and other types of uneven surfaces where activity inspections are needed.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

1-2 years of Mechanical or Electrical experience is preferred or prevous experience in a production environment

Ability to read and understand technical procedures and instructions.

Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from supervisors and managers.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
