Description
The South Coast Water District is seeking an experienced and strategic Capital Program Manager to oversee its Joint Regional Water Supply System (JRWSS) and support the continued reliability and modernization of the JRWSS. This executive-level leadership position will play a key role in engineering planning, project management, capital budgeting, regulatory compliance, and the planning and delivery of critical potable water infrastructure projects. SOUTH COAST WATER DISTRICT BENEFITS:
  • Work schedule is 4, 10-hour days - Monday through Thursday.
  • Vacation - 80 hours per year to start, increases annually with a max of 360 hours.
  • Longevity Vacation is awarded on 10-year anniversary date, and again every five years thereafter.
  • Sick Leave - 96 hours per year with no cap.
  • Holidays - 8 fixed paid holidays plus 3 floating holidays.
  • Medical insurance coverage, choice of six plans available for employee and dependents with a minimal monthly contribution. Ranging from HMO, PPO, and CDHP along with HSA and FSA availability.
  • Dental and Vision insurance coverage available for employee and dependents at no cost to employee.
  • Employee funded flexible spending account (FSA).
  • District funded Health Savings Account (HSA) - combined with CDHP.
  • Life/AD&D Insurance - District paid benefit. 2X Annual Salary with maximum benefit of $500,000 group term life insurance.
  • Short and long-term disability insurance - District pays full premium.
  • 457 Deferred Compensation Plan - District matches maximum of $1,600 annually.
  • Retirement - defined benefit plan through the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS).
    • Public Employee Pension Reform Act applied to new hires effective January 1, 2013. New employees are enrolled at the 2% @ 62.
    • "Classic Members" applies to employees hired or within CalPERS prior to January 1, 2013. 2% @ 55.
  • Educational reimbursement program.
  • Health Benefits for employees who retire with a minimum of 10 years of continuous service with SCWD.
  • Wellness program - Wellness benefit of $300 per Fiscal Year
