Pay Range: $65,834.00 - $88,876.00 per year

The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

This position is responsible for reviewing all areas and responsibilities relating to the 340B Program. The position will be responsible for oversight of the 340B contract pharmacy and third-party applications, execution of 340B internal audits, generating and analyzing 340B financial reports, engaging external auditors to ensure program compliance and efficiency, and ensure the health system is compliant with federal regulations. Position requires the ability to interact positively with all RWJBarnabas Health System personnel.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma 
  • Knowledge of acute care pharmacy operations, with a focus on 340B and pharmacy procurement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office pertaining to report generation, data collating and analysis 

Preferred:

  • Bachelors preferred
  • 8 years of hospital pharmacy experience
  • Minimum of 2+ years of 340B Program experience
  • Experience with 340B Program operations in a hospital settin

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • Preferred: Apexus 340B University (Certification) – can be completed upon hire also
  • Preferred: Certified Pharmacy Technician

Scheduling Requirements

  • Monday – Friday
  • FT (37.5 hours)

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to complete research and tasks autonomously.
  • Perform internal audits of RWJBH 340B covered entities ensuring program compliance and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Propose solutions to potential program issues.
  • Review and recommend systems and processes which maximize 340B benefit and appropriately track inventory.
  • Review and report compliance with state and federal regulations related to 340B contract pharmacy operations.
  • Provide department leadership with requested 340B performance reports within specified deadlines.
  • Act as a liaison between external 340B vendors and RWJBH.
  • Support 340B stakeholders at RWJBH covered entities and provide training as needed
  • Keep abreast to pending and current regulations and legislation related to 340B
  • Provide ongoing education to all internal stakeholders
