Mendocino Community Health Centers (MCHC) is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant / 340B Program Analyst to join our Finance team. This unique hybrid role combines accounting responsibilities with oversight of our nationally recognized 340B Drug Pricing Program, helping ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and program success that supports care for underserved communities.

What You'll Do

  • Perform account reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, and variance analysis. 
  • Assist with budgeting, grant tracking, and internal and external audits. 
  • Oversee daily administration and compliance of MCHC's 340B Program. 
  • Monitor HRSA regulations, complete annual recertification, and ensure ongoing program compliance. 
  • Conduct and coordinate internal and external 340B audits and implement corrective actions. 
  • Analyze program performance, prepare financial and operational reports, and identify opportunities for improvement. 
  • Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, Information Systems, and operational leaders to optimize program performance. 
  • Manage contract pharmacy relationships, monitor billing and inventory processes, and troubleshoot operational issues. 
  • Support Ryan White reporting and monthly 340B financial reconciliations.

Requirements:
  • Two years of prior accounting experience
  • Proficient in spreadsheet applications. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications


Preferred Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree in Accounting or Business Administration or five years or more related experience.
  • Previous experience in healthcare, managing a 340B program.
  • Knowledge and experience with major accounting applications.
  • Experience working in healthcare practice management systems.
  • Federally Qualified Health Center experience.

Compensation details: 23-28 Hourly Wage
