Responsibilities

The 340B Operations Manager is responsible for supporting compliance and identifying opportunities for improved capture in the 340B program, particularly related to purchasing activities within pharmacy areas. The position will oversee and manage the activities of 340B analysts, ensuring proper data management, reporting, and continuous process improvement.  This role ensures compliance with 340B regulations, monitors 340B transactions, and identifies cost-saving opportunities. Additionally, the role involves coordinating and conducting audits, providing advanced analysis to support decision-making and optimize program performance.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Required qualifications:

  • Current state Pharmacy Technician License.
  • 5 years of experience in 340B program operations, including compliance and auditing.
  • Strong knowledge of 340B regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with experience using 340B software and management platforms to identify cost-savings opportunities.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to navigate EMR systems in acute care and ambulatory care settings, as well as pharmacy management software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Preferred qualification:

  • 340B Apexus Certified Expert (ACE) Certification or completion of Apexus 340B University preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to navigate EMR systems in acute care and ambulatory care settings, as well as pharmacy management software.

Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options.  Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary.  A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $83,408.00 to $112,257.60 on an annualized basis. The compensation estimate noted above is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
