What are some challenges unique to 2nd shift driving and how can I prepare for them?

Driving the 2nd shift often means working later hours, which can lead to fatigue, fluctuating traffic patterns, and navigating in low-light conditions. It's important to prioritize rest, maintain good visibility by keeping your vehicle's lights and windows clean, and stay alert by taking regular breaks if possible. Effective communication with dispatch and other team members is crucial for managing schedule changes or last-minute delivery requests.
