Job Family FAC - Part-Time Faculty, Credit Classes Grade P1 Salary $54.37 - Base Rate Department Arts & Philosophy Reports To Department Chairperson, Arts & Philosophy Closing Date Open Until Filled FLSA Status Non-exempt First Review Date May 7, 2026
Position Overview
This position entails teaching studio art classes such as, Ceramics, Jewelry, Small Metals, Sculpture, Painting, Printmaking, 2D Design, 3D Design, Life Drawing, to college level students.
Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), and Blended Classes.

  • Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed
  • Master's Degree in Visual Arts (MFA) from a regionally accredited institution; or a Master's Degree and 18 graduate credits in visual arts from a regionally accredited institution
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written

The final candidate is to successfully complete a background screening and reference check process.
