Job description

Achievement Behavior Services (ABS) is looking for caring and reliable ABA Behavior Technicians to join our team in Central Queens. We work with children and teens diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, helping them build meaningful skills through structured and supportive ABA sessions in their home environment.

If you enjoy working with kids, are patient, and want to make a difference, this is a great opportunity to gain experience in ABA, special education, psychology, and related fields.

Position Overview

Behavior Technicians work one-on-one with a learner while following a treatment plan designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Sessions focus on developing communication, social skills, and independence through guided activities and reinforcement-based teaching.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Running skill-building programs according to the treatment plan

  • Teaching through play, structure, and positive reinforcement

  • Recording session notes and data on progress

  • Collaborating with a supervising BCBA and parents

You will be trained and supported throughout the process—no previous ABA experience required.
