Key Responsibilities
The role involves delivering medically prescribed physical therapy services aimed at evaluating, treating, and restoring patient function while enhancing mobility, alleviating pain, and preventing disabilities. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting patient evaluations and physical therapy assessments.
- Creating and implementing tailored treatment plans.
- Providing therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation and functional enhancement.
- Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary.
- Educating patients and their families about treatment plans and recovery objectives.
- Accurately documenting evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes.
- Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory, licensing, and patient safety standards.
Qualifications
- Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate, or Certificate).
- Valid state Physical Therapy license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification (AHA) upon hire and must be maintained.
