Impact Health is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing Psychiatry team, providing remote telehealth services to skilled nursing facilities throughout Maine.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Earning potential: 1099 (Fee For Service)ย 
  • Flexible Schedule: Monday โ€“ Friday. No on-call, weekends, or holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver person-centered care using evidence-based practices
  • Manage caseload and fulfill psychiatric consultation needs of skilled nursing facility
  • Provide assessment, diagnostic, and treatment services
  • Provide psychoeducation and medication education to patients and/or families
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary facility teams
  • Complete timely documentation (within 24 hours)
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations in SNF settings

Qualifications:

  • Licensed PMHNP in the state of Maine.
  • Experience in skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, residential care, geriatric services, and outpatient psychiatric settings preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing mental health care to adult populations.
  • Proficient with EHRs and clinical technology
  • Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset
