Position: Travel Med Surg Charge Nurse
Location: Lewiston, Maine
Department: Med Surg
Shifts Available: Days and Nights
Compensation: Up to $1,451 – $1,982 gross pay per week; equivalent to $40.32 – $55.06 per hour.
Assignment Duration: 12 weeks

Responsibilities
- Assist the Director in managing daily departmental operations, staffing, and workflow.
- Supervise, guide, and assess team members.
- Ensure optimal utilization of personnel, equipment, and resources.
- Maintain high standards of department operations and patient care.
- Provide direct patient care as required within your scope of practice.
- Monitor and adjust patient care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to enhance patient outcomes.
- Foster a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
- Oversee staff performance and unit operations during your assigned shift.
Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain it
- Current ACLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain it
- Minimum of one year of charge nurse experience in a Med Surg setting required
- PALS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain it

Our organization provides competitive pay, with a compensation estimate for this role ranging from $40.32 to $55.06. This estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for other geographic areas. The precise starting salary will be determined during the hiring process, taking into account various factors such as skill set, relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
