Client Service Representative - CareVet of Columbus

Under the new leadership of Dr. VanGundy, Medical Director, our hospital has elevated the practice of medicine to the highest standards. We are committed to delivering exceptional patient care, practicing evidence-based medicine, and creating positive outcomes for every pet and family we serve.
As the first and last impression of our hospital, our Client Service Representatives play a vital role in creating an exceptional client experience while helping ensure every pet receives the care they deserve. About the Role
As a Client Service Representative, you will be the face of CareVet of Columbus. You will greet clients, coordinate appointments, support communication between clients and the medical team, and help create a welcoming experience from the moment a client walks through our doors or calls our hospital.
Your ability to provide compassionate service, stay organized, and support hospital workflow is essential to delivering the highest level of patient and client care.
What You'll Do
  • Welcome clients and patients with professionalism, warmth, and compassion
  • Schedule appointments while maximizing patient access and doctor utilization
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to client questions with confidence and empathy
  • Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, and the medical team
  • Review treatment plans, estimates, and discharge instructions with clients
  • Process payments and accurately manage financial transactions
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records
  • Assist with appointment confirmations and forward booking to ensure continuity of care
  • Support online scheduling and hospital workflow initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Collaborate with the entire hospital team to provide an exceptional client experience

Qualifications
  • Previous veterinary client service experience preferred
  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, or healthcare welcomed
  • Comfortable learning veterinary software and technology
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work collaboratively with veterinarians, RVTs, assistants, and fellow Client Service Representatives
