Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Lead- Demand Planning for our Digital Supply Solutions group. This leader acts as a Product manager and is responsible for end-to-end planning systems capabilities from strategy, business stakeholder management, portfolio prioritization and delivery/maintenance of planning capabilities to support Vertiv's business units. The position provides subject matter expertise in various domains of supply chain planning (demand, supply, manufacturing etc.) a hands-on systems knowledge and experience/exposure to AI in supply chain opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Lead Supply Chain Planning Transformation Program
  • Responsible for implementation of Advanced Planning capabilities and owns specific domain area : Demand/S&OP or Supply/Inventory/Manufacturing Planning or Spares Parts Planning solutions
  • Design robust touch-less digital planning solutions for scale, availability and growth
  • Owns and drives deliverables through SDLC
  • Manges portfolio of digital supply chain programs in the specific domain area of ownership
  • Works across teams and external partners to drive major transformation program in specific domain area
  • Scope, plan, and manage projects, quality of software development, risks, schedules, communication plans, and deliverables.
  • Responsible for building a global template of domain specific capabilities and rollouts across 33+ and growing plants around the world

Planning Product & Architecture
  • Build supply chain planning capabilities as a Product
  • Serves as primary IT contact to business stakeholders for domain specific ownership (Demand/S&OP/Supply/Mfg/Spares)
  • Brings a DevOps mindset and helps expand it into a CoE
  • Responsible for standardizing the planning global template and baselining with industry and tool standards
  • Owns and manages relevant KPIs

Thought Leadership & Mentorship
  • Revolutionize end-to-end supply chain models
  • Serve as a senior technical mentor to data engineers, solution architects, and product teams
  • Introduce best practices, emerging patterns, and modern architectural approaches
  • Influence stakeholders across business and technology with strong communication, storytelling, and technical depth

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related field. MBA or master's preferred but not required.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in implementing complex supply chain solutions, strong knowledge of operational processes, systems, and tools implementation experience in leading/fast growth companies
  • Deep domain expertise in supply chain planning across two or more areas : demand forecasting, S&OP, multi-level integrated supply planning, distribution, inventory optimization, manufacturing planning and scheduling, ATP/CTP
  • Multiple E2E implementations of advanced planning technologies implementing Kinaxis Rapidresponse/Maestro
  • Extensive, hands-on experience in supply chain complex solution design including authoring, data integrations, scenario planning and best practices
  • Proven experience translating business processes into scalable digital solutions
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and supply chain strategies (ETO/CTO, MEIO, VMI etc)
  • Preferred
    • Kinaxis Maestro authoring and solution consultant certifications
    • Experience enabling AI/ML for supply chain use cases
    • Prior experience with global manufacturing environments
