Polysomnography Technician I East Sleep Lab

The Sleep Laboratory encompasses all technical functions within the Sleep Disorders Center. The laboratory is the diagnostic area of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care. It evaluates all patients suspected of having sleep disorders. It is located at University Hospitals East. The laboratory is staffed 7 nights per week, Sunday through Saturday. Patients are aged 18+ and geriatric 65+

Position Summary

Under a physician's medical direction, Polysomnographic Technologist prepares patients for all-night polysomnographic recordings and multiple sleep latency tests and maintenance of wakefulness tests during the day.

Minimum Qualifications

For Hire: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Credentials through the BRPT, or RRT programs and one year of relevant experience.
