Job description

Responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for sleep related disorders on patients in the Sleep Disorders Center. As directed by the physician, performs standard and complex monitoring and reviews, according to established standards and practice.
Performs a variety of sleep tracing procedures.
Processes sleep tracings for review, scoring, storage.
Observes all patient safety precautions in accordance with all hospital protocols on patient safety.
Maintains equipment and follows proper safety precautions.
Responds to emergency situations per guidelines.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills appropriate to the age of patients served.
Obtains and maintains authorization from insurance companies
Prefer 2 yrs exp. in polysomnography. Registration in Polysomnography ( Sleep Studies).
Must have BLS/CPR by the American Heart Association
