Job description

Hiring: Equipment Maintenance Technician 
New Albany, Ohio (100% Onsite)
We are seeking a hands-on Equipment Maintenance Technician to support packaging, inspection, and serialization equipment in a regulated manufacturing environment.

 Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mechanical, electrical & electromechanical troubleshooting and repairs
  • Execute preventive & corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability
  • Diagnose equipment failures and perform root-cause analysis
  • Support equipment changeovers, adjustments, and upgrades
  • Maintain vision inspection & serialization systems (cameras, sensors, printers, scanners)
  • Work with PLC-controlled equipment to resolve alarms and faults
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and SOP standards
  • Document maintenance activities and support cross-functional teams
  • Provide real-time support to maintain production uptime
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in manufacturing/packaging environments (Pharma/Medical Device preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of packaging equipment (cartoners, labelers, conveyors, vision systems)
  • Familiarity with PLC systems, Cognex, Systech Serialization
  • Understanding of GMP/FDA regulations
  • Ability to read technical drawings & manuals
  • Good communication and documentation skills
