JOB DESCRIPTION


Summary/Objective

This is full-time position providing technical and operational support to implement and maintain all business applications including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Serialization, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Warehouse Management System (WMS), Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS). This position will work with other team members to maintain operational readiness, provide support and business continuity.

Essential Functions

  • Setup and maintain master data for clients, customers, products, and locations in enterprise Level 4 serialization system.
  • Ensure compliance with DSCSA requirements and industry best practices.
  • Understand various levels of automation and the associated systems integration and standards.
  • Configure/troubleshoot integrations and communications between various enterprise L4 systems.
  • Test, analyze, and interpret documents in various technical formats such as EPCIS, XML and CSV.
  • Administer and monitor serialization-related systems, portals, customer interfaces, EPCIS platforms, and/or L4 traceability systems.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound EPCIS transactions for successful transmission, receipt, and processing.
  • Troubleshoot failed EPCIS messages, rejected files, missing events, data mismatches, formatting issues, and connectivity errors.
  • Act as an internal project manager for engagements requiring IT resources, develop associated project plans, and monitor ongoing performance.
  • Create and maintain internal documentation for client specifications, system operating procedures, and system configurations.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of technology and its application to achieve business objectives.
  • Serve as a consultant to other internal and external customer resources as needed.
  • Hands-on and remote troubleshooting of issues pertaining to serialization, WMS, EDI, ERP and third-party platforms and integrations.
  • Provide technical support and customer service directly to end users using a ticketing system, telephone, electronic communication, and remote screen sharing.
  • Able to function in an on-call capacity during and after regular business hours.
  • Setup EDI transmission capabilities including but not limited to AS2, SFTP and web services.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday, during day shift hours. Maintenance and customer activities may occasionally require work be conducted after hours or on weekends.

Travel
This position requires occasional travel, up to 20%.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, and work experience.
  • At least 3 years of monitoring, maintaining, improving, and supporting technical systems and integrations.
  • Working knowledge of DSCSA, EPCIS, GS1 standards, serialization, track-and-trace, or pharmaceutical product identifiers preferred.
  • Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage and organize several projects and regular duties.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be a “self-starter”.
