Job Description
Bring your expertise to JPMorganChase. As part of Risk Management and Compliance, you are at the center of keeping the firm strong and resilient. You help JPMorganChase grow its business in a responsible way by anticipating new and emerging risks and using your expert judgement to solve real-world challenges that impact our company, customers and communities. Our culture in Risk Management and Compliance is all about thinking outside the box, challenging the status quo and striving to be best-in-class.
As Executive Data Owner in the Office of Regulation and Document Governance (ORDG), you hold ultimate accountability for managing data across the function, driving quality, governance, and regulatory compliance for all data created, stored, transformed, and consumed. Reporting to the Head of ORDG, you build the robust, governed data foundations that power agentic AI capabilities across the Firmwide Policy and Standards Portal (FPSP), RM&C Legal and Regulatory Change Management (LRCM), and RM&C Bulletin tools and related teams. As ORDG transforms into an agentic AI data product-centric organization, you own and drive the AI strategy and data product portfolio, enabling real-time regulatory applicability, impact assessment, document drafting, and quality assurance.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Drive ORDG's transformation to a data-centric organization by building data product offerings for policies, standards, and regulatory change events and owning the AI Strategy-defining the vision, priorities, and roadmap for AI adoption across regulatory change management, document governance, and policy management.
  • Own Data Risk management oversight across ORDG, including structured/unstructured data, third-party data, and technology-owned architectures; escalate ownership issues across Risk systems and monitor Corporate Technology Data Strategy implementation progress.
  • Drive data modernization with technology partners, implementing the Corporate Technology Data Strategy, landing data on the Data Mesh, and creating reusable, AI-ready Data Products governed to firmwide standards.
  • Lead end-to-end AI delivery from ideation through production deployment in partnership with Data Science, governing model training, validation, and deployment throughout the lifecycle.
  • Partner with Product, Data Science, and technology teams to drive data foundations and scale policy and LRCM governance through AI-assisted capabilities, championing responsible AI principles and implementing human oversight and validation frameworks.
  • Manage ORDG's data sourcing needs from upstream publishers and third-party relationships, driving compliance with Data Protection, Retention, and Destruction requirements.
  • Lead implementation of processes to meet Data Risk management standards and legal/regulatory requirements; resolve non-compliance and escalate as appropriate.
  • Lead a team of Data Owners responsible for meeting ORDG's data needs.
  • Centralize reporting and analytics across ORDG, delivering a single source of truth through executive dashboards, operational reports, and self-service tools that inform product strategy and operations.
  • Partner with process owners to document end-to-end business processes, optimizing and governing data flows to identify automation opportunities and reduce friction through continuous improvement.
  • Identify Key Data Elements; establish and monitor Data Quality, Lineage, and Business Data Quality controls across the data lifecycle; publish data with comprehensive metadata aligned to regulatory expectations and firmwide standards.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in data analytics, data science, computer science, information management, finance, risk management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in data management, data governance, risk management, or compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong leadership presence, with the ability to influence senior management and drive cross-functional alignment.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience in data governance frameworks, data quality, data lineage, and metadata management, including building and managing Data Products and data pipelines at enterprise scale.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML data requirements; hands-on experience partnering with Data Science teams on AI/ML model development, including familiarity with model development lifecycles, feature engineering, and model governance.
  • Experience with Key Data Elements and Business Data Quality controls.
  • Experience in a data leadership role within Risk Management, Compliance, or a regulatory-facing function at a large financial institution.
