Job description

Jeni’s is looking for a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Retail Analytics & Forecasting Manager to join our Supply Chain team. This role is responsible for leading the forecasting and demand planning process across all of our retail, DTC and Scoop Shop channels, while also supporting ice‑cream allocations.

Responsibilities
  • Formalize and lead a monthly S&OP process that creates consensus on forecast and trade planning with our Sales team.
  • Translate demand forecasting into the Modus system.
  • Manage the relationship with our system provider (Modus), including maintenance of seasonality inputs, pricing changes, and expert tool guidance.
  • Develop reporting tools.
  • Partner with Sales to assess trade effectiveness, optimize customer plans, and inform future strategy.
  • Support annual planning processes with bottom‑up customer analysis and scenario modeling.
  • Identify learning opportunities as shipments actualize to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Partner to support ice‑cream allocations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, statistics, data analytics, supply chain, or related work experience.
  • 3-5 years of demand forecasting experience.
  • Experience in fast‑paced, high‑growth companies.
  • Understanding of retail and trade math, including pricing structures (e.g., EDLC, OI, MCB).
  • Knowledge of distribution pathways (direct ship to store, direct to retailers, distributor networks such as DSD and cross‑dock).
  • Consumer Packaged Goods industry knowledge; familiarity with syndicated data tools such as Spins, Nielsen, and IRI.
  • Strong analytical/problem‑solving skills and the ability to communicate clear, compelling stories from data.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with a continuous‑improvement orientation and the ability to enhance existing processes.
  • Experience with Modus or other trade and sales forecasting software.
  • Intellectually curious, highly detail‑oriented, self‑starter with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Outgoing, positive, collaborative interpersonal style.
