  • Provide technical leadership and escalation support for complex incidents, engaging internal teams, vendors, and other resources through resolution.
  • Ensure infrastructure incidents, problems, and changes follow established processes for escalation, communication, root-cause analysis, corrective action, documentation, and lessons learned.
  • Build and manage infrastructure roadmaps and priorities encompassing modernization, lifecycle management, resilience, capacity, technical debt, and security remediation.
  • Partner with IT leadership, Cybersecurity, Architecture, Product teams, Production Operations, and business stakeholders to plan and deliver infrastructure initiatives.
  • Ensure infrastructure solutions are designed, implemented, documented, secured, monitored, and maintained to be reliable, supportable, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
  • Maintain effective backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery capabilities, including documented recovery procedures and regular testing.
  • Manage infrastructure budgets, forecasts, licensing, renewals, vendor relationships, hardware and service investments, and related financial recommendations.
  • Establish and continuously improve consistent engineering, operational, documentation, and change-management practices.
  • Participate in planned maintenance and after-hours escalation support as business needs require.

Qualifications
  • Five or more years of progressively responsible experience supporting enterprise infrastructure and systems.
  • Two or more years of formal people-management, supervisory, or equivalent team-lead experience, including coaching, workload prioritization, performance management, and employee development.
  • Broad experience across several enterprise technology areas, such as:
    • Windows and Linux servers
    • Enterprise networking and remote connectivity
    • Virtualization and hybrid infrastructure
    • Storage, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery
    • Microsoft 365 and identity services
    • Infrastructure security and vulnerability remediation
  • Demonstrated experience leading infrastructure operations, production support, incident response, change management, lifecycle planning, and cross-functional technical initiatives.
  • Experience managing technology vendors, service providers, licensing, renewals, budgets, or infrastructure investment recommendations.
  • Ability to translate technical risk, service health, capacity, and investment needs into clear recommendations for technical and business audiences.
  • Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
