Columbus, OH | Up to $175,000 Base Salary


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Operations Manager to oversee electrical construction operations and project execution for a growing contractor in the Columbus market.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing electrical construction operations, with a preference for candidates who have worked extensively on multifamily projects. Candidates with a strong background in general commercial electrical construction will also be considered.


This is a leadership position focused on project performance, field operations, team leadership, client relationships, and overall execution.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day electrical construction operations across multiple projects.
  • Lead and support Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, manpower, materials, and overall project performance.
  • Coordinate with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and according to contract requirements.
  • Review project progress and identify potential issues before they impact schedule or profitability.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams throughout the construction process.
  • Assist with resource planning, manpower allocation, and project staffing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and project partners.
  • Help establish and improve operational processes and standards.
  • Support business growth and help identify opportunities within the Columbus market.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and company standards are consistently maintained.


Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in electrical construction.
  • Previous experience in an operations, senior project management, or construction leadership role.
  • Multifamily electrical construction experience strongly preferred.
  • General commercial electrical construction experience will also be considered.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and project teams.
  • Strong understanding of electrical construction processes, scheduling, estimating, and project financials.
  • Ability to lead and develop Project Managers, Superintendents, and field personnel.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety and quality standards.
