Client Details Our client is a highly respected General Contractor based in Ohio. As their special projects division continues to expand, they're seeking a well-rounded professional who can step in and help lead, shape, and grow this area of the business. Description The Project Manager Will Be Required To: Provide project oversight while promoting and maintaining a strong, proactive safety culture on site. Oversee the creation and evaluation of bid packages to secure competitive subcontractor proposals. Facilitate regular subcontractor meetings on the job site to help ensure project objectives are achieved. Review monthly billing and manage the documentation and approvals required to maintain timely project funding. Lead cost‑tracking efforts, including contracts, purchase orders, and scope adjustments, to support overall project goals. Monitor the financial performance of the project and maintain accurate forecasting. Act as the company's representative during subcontractor negotiations. Profile The Ideal Project Manager Will Have: Background in Construction Project Management, Assistant Project Management, or Project Engineering. Strong understanding of construction methods, technologies, and project details. Prior experience managing projects for a general contractor. Ability to thoroughly review and interpret construction documents, including drawings and specifications. Clear and effective communication skills with teams, partners, and stakeholders such as management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients. Familiarity with key skilled trades, including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site preparation, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical systems.
