Job description

Regional Director of Business Development

Located throughoutthe Southern Ohioregion

~Salary Range $110K - $125K Per Year; BASED ON EXPERIENCE~

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a team-based, facility-level Marketing Plans to include: analyzing the local healthcare systems; identifying and meeting needs of customers; determining core competitive advantages; building a core selling message; establishing reach and frequency for target customers and prospects and; coordinating selling strategies and tactics.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key community partners. Prospecting to gain and secure access to higher level hospital, ACO and Physicians.
  • Development and execution of Census Improvement Plans, marketing plans and programs, both short and long term, to support sales and revenue objectives of organization alongside of the RDO and VP of Business Development.
  • Recruit, manage, and mentor a team of business development representatives, setting clear goals, coaching performance, and motivating them to achieve sales target.
  • Identify, communicate, advocate, and when appropriate, intervene with obstacles to optimum census outside of admissions, sales, and marketing (i.e. operational, clerical, and administrative issues). Guides preparation and completion of all reports to be sent to management.
Qualifications:
  • Must have regional or multi-site marketing experience with proven success in the nursing home arena
  • Must have experience overseeing the marketing of multiple long term care facilities
  • Must have practical working knowledge of business development and long-term care
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with external agencies and organizations
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to analyze organizational needs and develop appropriate strategic plans
  • Strong leadership abilities and abilities to work in a collaborative, team-oriented structure
