Our portfolio of ion exchange resins, polymeric adsorbents, and membrane technologies enables customers to improve efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and advance critical manufacturing processes.

In this role, you will contribute to customer-focused application and product development projects that address real-world challenges in water purification and industrial separation. Working alongside scientists and engineers, you will help develop innovative solutions that conserve resources, enhance sustainability, and support the growth of next-generation technologies.

We are seeking early-career scientists and engineers with laboratory experience who are eager to learn, grow, and make a positive impact. Training in DuPont's core ion exchange resin and membrane technologies will be provided.

What You'll Do
  • Design, conduct, and execute laboratory experiments to develop and evaluate new products and applications.
  • Apply ion exchange resin and membrane technologies to solve processing, purification, and separation challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of scientists, engineers, and technical experts to achieve project objectives.
  • Analyze experimental data and communicate results, conclusions, and recommendations to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Document experimental work, technical findings, and project updates through reports and presentations.
  • Support the operation and management of laboratory equipment, including maintenance, troubleshooting, safety practices, and procedural documentation.
  • Contribute to a safe, collaborative, and innovative laboratory environment.
Required Qualifications

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ion exchange resins, membrane technologies, packed-bed systems, and/or column operations.
  • Knowledge of separation and purification processes using ion exchange or membrane-based technologies.
  • Experience assembling, operating, or maintaining laboratory equipment, including Swagelok-based systems or similar fluid-handling setups.
  • Hands-on analytical laboratory experience, such as HPLC, ion chromatography, wet chemistry, or polymer characterization techniques.
