Job description

ComResource is looking for a Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master.

Responsibilities:

Agile Ceremonies & Team Facilitation

  • Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure meetings are focused, time-boxed, and outcome-driven.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and team accountability.

Impediment Removal

  • Proactively identify, track, and remove blockers that hinder team progress.
  • Escalate risks and issues appropriately to minimize delivery impact.
  • Act as a shield for the team against external disruptions.

TDLC & Compliance Adherence

  • Ensure all delivery activities align with Technology Development Life Cycle (TDLC) standards and organizational compliance requirements.
  • Partner with governance and risk teams to maintain audit readiness.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to regulatory and internal policy checkpoints throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Coaching & Team Maturity

  • Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices.
  • Assess team maturity and develop targeted improvement plans.
  • Mentor team members to build self-organizing, high-performing teams.

Agile Tools & Data Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in Agile tools, including Rally and Azure DevOps.
  • Generate meaningful metrics and dashboards, including velocity, burndown, and cycle time.
  • Ensure backlog hygiene and proper story and task management.

Delivery Troubleshooting

  • Identify delivery risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze root causes of delivery failures and drive corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with technical leads to resolve complex delivery challenges.

Enterprise Initiative Leadership

  • Lead or support large-scale, cross-functional enterprise initiatives.
  • Coordinate across multiple teams and workstreams to ensure alignment and on-time delivery.
  • Manage dependencies, timelines, and milestones across the program.

Release Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage release schedules in collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams.
  • Ensure release readiness by tracking all release criteria and go/no-go decisions.
  • Communicate release plans, timelines, and outcomes to all stakeholders.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

  • Provide regular, clear, and concise status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present delivery reports, risk summaries, and program health dashboards.
  • Attend and actively contribute to Steering Committee meetings, representing delivery status and escalating key decisions.

Essentials:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or Scrum Master leading Agile delivery across multiple teams.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and enterprise delivery practices.
  • Experience with Agile tools, including Rally and Azure DevOps.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage dependencies, timelines, and milestones across complex programs.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Experience with compliance, governance, and audit readiness in a regulated environment.
  • Proven ability to identify and remove impediments and manage delivery risks proactively.
