Job description

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Columbus, OH
Pay Range: $25$29 per hour
Shift: Day Shift

Job Description:
Looking for a hands-on Maintenance Mechanic ready to jump into a fast-moving facility environment and make an immediate impact. This role is all about keeping building systems running smoothly, supporting critical operations, and stepping in where needed to get the job done.

Youll work with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment systems, supporting preventive maintenance and repairs across the facility. Daily work includes HVAC coil cleaning, evaporator cleaning, lighting repairs, minor plumbing fixes, and maintaining kitchen equipment like grinders, slicers, and related systems. Youll also help with general building upkeep such as painting, basic locksmith tasks, and tenant service requests.

This is a role where no two days look exactly the same. Youll assist engineers and controls techs, but also handle your own assigned work orders. Some after-hours on-call support is required for emergencies, so reliability matters.

Youll be expected to follow all safety procedures, properly handle materials, and keep work areas clean and organized. Strong communication and the ability to work independently or as part of a team is key.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid drivers license. At least one year of general maintenance experience is preferred, along with basic mechanical, electrical, or plumbing knowledge. You should be comfortable with physical work including climbing, lifting, bending, and driving.
