Overview

Excalibur Associates is a recognized leader in the Security Management industry. We are currently seeking a Junior Locksmith to provide locksmith services on our contract serving the Environmental Protection Agency Headquarters in Washington, DC. The Junior Locksmith reports to the Senior Locksmith.

Job Skills/Requirements
  • Junior Locksmith Duties oConsult with Senior Locksmith to coordinate the best solution for lock repairs.
  • Classified and filed records to keep the system efficient, and all information organized. oReviewed lock specifications to understand each operation and implement the correct adjustments, minimizing future errors and avoiding wasted materials.
  • Research correct order numbers for keys/equipment needed for daily tasks. oDelivered administrative lock tech support each day, including data updates to profiles.
  • Troubleshot and diagnosed problems with safes, electronic locks, and mechanical locks, independently/partnering to resolve routine issues and organizing more advanced repairs. oOrganized tools and checked the shop's equipment to maintain a neat and safe work area.
  • Occasionally transporting boxes, containers and equipment with the use of a hand cart.
