A Brief Overview
The Sr. Business and Insights Analyst is part of the Customer Experience Insights and Analytics Center of Excellence. While your main focus will be with business analytics, you will also collaborate with various departments across the business to support broader initiatives that require analytics expertise. You will use your creativity, communication skills, and analytical abilities to craft compelling narratives that turn complex data sets into actionable insights that inform and support business decisions. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to create visually appealing and easily digestible data stories that will resonate with audiences to drive business led decisions.
What You Will Do
  • Performs qualitative and quantitative advanced analyses and develops standard and on demand reports of a complex nature.
  • Communicating data from multiple sources into impactful and actionable insights, providing easy-to-understand guidance and recommendations to drive business strategies and decision making.
  • Leverage data visualization principles to design, develop and maintain dashboards and tools that monitor key business performance.
  • Enabling and evolving self-service for stakeholders.
  • Uses knowledge of business and data to proactively discover and/or anticipate challenges or opportunities that may impact the business.
  • Leverage knowledge to determine and communicate impact to business in an easy digestible format leveraging storytelling techniques.
  • Mentor and assist with training junior analysts while maintaining documentation to preserve alignment on process, procedures and best practices.
  • Explore and recommend opportunities for streamlining and standardizing reporting and analysis. Monitor reporting automation, consolidation and maintenance to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

What You Will Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or similar field Required
  • 3 years of experience in a data analytical role Required
  • 3 years of experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Snowflake, or BI Required
  • 3 years of experience in directly writing SQL Required
  • 3 years of experience with synthesizing analytical insights into clear, strategic storytelling to drive decision-making Required
  • 3 years of experience making strategic recommendations on data collection, integration, and retention requirements incorporating business requirements and knowledge of best practices Required
  • 3 years of experience building & analyzes E2E customer journey data to develop actionable insights to improve customer experience and customer conversion Required
  • Experience with the data visualization tools, ability to create dashboards, visualizations and reporting
  • Ability to understand complex analysis Required
  • Demonstrated ability to make strategic recommendations on data collection, integration, and retention requirements incorporating business requirements and knowledge of best practices (storytelling abilities cross-functionally throughout business) Required
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office - primarily Excel Required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation, education, reading, writing, and listening skills Required
  • Ability to adapt to constantly changing priorities and exhibit excellent time management skills Required
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Required
  • Strong organizational skills Required
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively Required

Expected Work Location (In Office): It is expected that you will primarily perform work at the Safelite Home Office (7400 Safelite Way, Columbus, OH 43235). You are required to work in the office 5 days a week. Changes to work location arrangements are subject to managerial approval and business needs.
