Job Description

Recruits future leaders and provides strong project management skills to the College Recruiting Program.


  • Continuously improves the North America college recruitment strategy.
  • Aids in management of College Recruiting which includes program management for Intern and rotational programs, campus recruitment activities, and regional and national Diversity events.
  • Screens candidate qualifications, reviews resumes, and utilizes on-line university career centers. Recruits recent college graduates and interns from various colleges and universities.
  • Manages the candidate interview process including scheduling and conducting interviews, negotiating offers, and closing out transactions.
  • Tracks students interviewed, offers extended, accepted, declined, hired, and diversity.
  • Follows up with students and current employees who came from College Recruiting regarding career paths with DHL Supply Chain. Maximizes retention of first-year placed candidates.
  • Leads business planning meetings to plan for Fall/Spring recruitment activities by setting recruitment strategy, creating or refining processes and procedures, resource planning, and agreeing to team roles and responsibilities.
  • Creates quarterly assessment reports for recruitment initiatives and communication plans for College Recruiting initiative.
  • Interfaces with stakeholders to discuss strategies pertaining to sector needs and establish preferred outcomes.
  • Establishes relationships with professors, career centers, diversity clubs and organizations, and hiring managers.
  • Modifies and implements behavioral selection process for college recruitment.
  • Provides counsel and guidance to hiring managers with respect to candidates and offers.
  • Represents the company at colleges and universities by presenting at information sessions, attending interview day, and participating in job fairs.
  • Maintains internal and external data in resume tracking database.


Required Education and Experience

  • Must be willing to travel up to 90% during peak recruiting seasons (September-November and February-April) - schedule flexibility is essential due to travel requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field of study, required
  • Master's degree, preferred
  • 1-2 year's experience insome combination of Corporate College Recruiting, University Career Services, and/or another DHL role
