Job description

Job Summary:ย SEACORP is seeking Software Engineers at allexperience levels, including new and recent college graduates, to buildmission-critical software for the U.S. Navy.ย 

Your code will go to sea. As a Software Engineer onSEACORP's Cyber Team, you will help design, build, and test software thatsupports the cybersecurity, resilience, and secure operation of the SubmarineWarfare Federated Tactical Systems (SWFTS) program: the integrated combatsystem used across the U.S. Navy submarine fleet. You will join amultidisciplinary team of SEACORP and government engineers developing software,automation, data services, and prototypes for some of the most advancedplatforms in the world.

Job Responsibilities Include:ย 

  • Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions in languages such as Java, Python, and C++.
  • Develop applications, APIs, automation, and prototypes in support of Navy cyber and data systems.
  • Work on problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations
  • Participate in an Agile team, consisting of daily scrums, two-week sprints, quarterly program increments, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
  • Use professional engineering tools, including Git, Linux, and the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, etc).
  • Learn modern cybersecurity, data, cloud, container, and AI-assisted development technologies on the job, with guidance from experienced engineers.
