Job description

Classified: Bus Driver
Salary: hourly
Qualifications:
 
  • Must possess a "clear" BCII and FBI background check
 
  • Must meet all qualifications to be a school bus driver in the State of Ohio
  • Must have a High School Diploma or the equivalent
  • Must have an excellent driving record
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be able to pass mandated annual physical and random drug tests
  • Supervises the behavior of the students on the bus through verbal direction for the purpose of their safety
  • Must have the ability to ensure the safe transportation of all students
  • Must be flexible and have ability to quickly adjust to changes in schedule
           Willingness to drive extracurricular routes when requested
           Preferred candidate shall have possession of a Class B Commercial Driver's License allowing operation of vehicles with air brakes and
           the following endorsements: Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) or CCS will train candidates.Â
