Job description

M.H. Eby, Inc., a leading manufacturer of aluminum trailers & truck bodies, is looking to add technicians to our service department at our West Jefferson facility. These positions work on both new and used trailers, made by EBY and other manufacturers.

4 Day Work Week

Requirements are the proper use of hand tools, tape measures, power tools, basic mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work as a team. Prior experience with trailer maintenance, brakes, electrical, metal fabrication, and systems diagnosis is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidates.

Job duties may include general trailer/truck body service, brake repairs, wiring repairs, welding, fabrication, as well as other types of mechanical repairs on livestock semi/gooseneck trailers, grain trailers, and aluminum truck bodies.

Prior experience with trailer maintenance, brakes, electrical, metal fabrication, and systems diagnosis is preferred. Basic mechanical aptitude is helpful. Must possess the ability to work as a team.

  • All applicants will be considered. Experience is preferred but we will train the right candidate.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legal to work in the USA.
  • Potential hires must pass a physical and drug screen before starting employment.
  • Starting wage based upon experience.
