Job Posting

Position Summary: Responsible for safely transporting materials, equipment, and prefabricated components to and from project sites, fabrication facilities, and vendor locations. This role supports mechanical construction operations by ensuring timely, accurate deliveries that align with project schedules. The driver assists with loading and unloading using forklifts or other material-handling equipment, verifies shipment accuracy, and maintains compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety standards.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Delivers products, supplies and other items to job-sites daily and in a timely manner.
  • Unloads items delivered to job-sites or returned to the warehouse.
  • Focuses on safety and safety practices at all times. Abides by all traffic laws and DOT regulations. Drives the company vehicles in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Reloads the truck for the next day's run.
  • Helps pull items for orders when needed.
  • Driver responsible for driving pickup truck with 40 ft gooseneck trailer and/or enclosed trailer.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years prior driving experience with straight truck.
  • Stable work history
  • CDL License endorsement B for straight trucks.
  • HAZMAT endorsement
  • At least one year of experience driving in the following conditions: rain, snow, ice, fog, etc.

Education:

  • High School or GED Equivalent

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to pass the DOT physical.
  • Able to climb in and out of truck.
  • Lift items weighing up to 60lbs.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Good knowledge of Ohio and cities.
  • Knowledge of all DOT regulations.
