An exciting contract opportunity awaits a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) who’s ready to make a direct impact in a school-based setting. This in-person position focuses on providing targeted speech therapy services to two dedicated students attending an alternative education program near Powell, OH. What you’ll bring:

  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain before start)
  • Previous experience working in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred
  • Commitment to providing all services in person—virtual delivery is not an option
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver enriching speech therapy to two students attending a specialized school program
    • Student A: 80 minutes of therapy per month
    • Student B: 200 minutes of therapy per month (divided as two 25-minute sessions per week)
  • Develop, document, and track individualized treatment plans based on student goals
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with school staff and families to support student progress
  • Use creative strategies to help students build confidence and communication skills in a supportive educational environment
  • Maintain compliance with all required documentation and procedural standards
