Winder Packer

Pay: $16.00/hr Shift: MondayThursday, 6:00 AM 4:30 PM (Occasional Friday OT) Company: Nesco is currently seeking Winder Packers for a manufacturing company in the Grove City area specializing in butyl adhesives.

Position Overview

This is a hands-on warehouse position in a manufacturing setting. The role involves working with materials that can exceed 150F and lifting boxes that may weigh up to 85 pounds. The work can be repetitive, and due to the warehouse environment, temperatures vary frequently.

A strong mechanical aptitude is highly beneficial, as many tasks require the use of standard tools (provided by the company).

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate on extrusion lines to wind, cut, pack, and stencil products.
  • Verify size, weight, and count of finished goods.
  • Ensure consistent product quality and request weight checks when necessary.
  • Keep work area clean and organized, including weighing scrap paper and counting strip center cores.
  • Assist in training new team members as needed.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Extrusion Manager.
  • Use downtime to stencil and glue cartons when appropriate.
Job Requirements
  • Fluent in English (for safety and communication).
  • Ability to work occasional overtime on Fridays.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Safety-toed boots or shoes required.
  • Safety glasses provided by the company.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and comfort using standard tools.
