Job Title:Executive Director, Real Estate CenterDepartment:Fisher College | Department of Executive Education

The Ohio State Center for Real Estate is a university-wide center housed at Fisher College of Business. The Center advances education, engagement, and knowledge sharing across the real estate community by attracting civic-minded individuals and developing their knowledge of, and passion for, real estate. Through student programming, collaboration with industry and public-sector leaders, continuing education, and knowledge-transfer opportunities, the Center strengthens partnerships with the real estate industry, fosters interdisciplinary cooperation across campus, provides students with multidisciplinary experiential learning opportunities, and creates forums where research, expertise, and insight can be shared broadly across the real estate community.

The Executive Director is responsible for cultivating and securing membership support for the Center, overseeing day-to-day administration and operations, and developing the Center's vision and strategy. The Executive Director will raise the visibility and prominence of the Center through strategic and visionary leadership, while expanding engagement among members, corporate partners, students, alumni, and friends of the university. Responsible for financial performance of the Center and drives continued revenue growth. This role will foster industry and academic relationships that enhance the reputation of the Center and Ohio State's real estate programs; build a national network of Ohio State alumni working in real estate; maintain relationships with significant local, state, and national professional associations; and identify market opportunities for workforce development and other Center offerings.


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 10 years of experience in the real estate industry in a senior executive capacity, entrepreneurship and innovation, new product design, development and launch, and/ or business plan development and execution. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills. Demonstrated public speaking skills. Ability to work with varies faculty, staff, students, and external organizations. Excellent leadership skills. Considerable experience in financial management and broad knowledge of current business practices. Ability to work with individuals from both business and academia.

Desired Qualifications: Master's degree in relevant field or equivalent education/experience. 15 or more years of relevant experience preferred
