  • Work closely with the engineering department and project managers to ensure adherence to project schedules, including activities required to support procurement and timely release of engineering deliverables.
  • Monitor, track, and coordinate schedule updates and submittals, ensuring accurate and timely communication to all stakeholders.
  • Liaise with internal and external clients and managers to determine applicable design codes and establish overall design criteria for infrastructure projects.
  • Ensure all engineering work complies with approved manuals, standards, and procedures.
  • Maintain engineering scope and project intent by interpreting project scope, identifying deviations, and assessing potential change orders.
  • Coordinate with managers to evaluate cost and schedule impacts of scope changes and support the implementation of approved changes.
  • Implement approved project changes and clearly communicate associated schedule impacts to project managers and other stakeholders.
  • Verify adherence to project quality processes and support continuous improvement of engineering and project delivery practices.
  • Conduct recurring design coordination meetings with project teams to promote cross-departmental collaboration and resolve design issues.
  • Coordinate with Project Management and Procurement to establish and maintain effective document distribution for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage engineering field support and technical communication through the RFI (Request for Information) system.
  • Review weekly and monthly project status reports, providing engineering input related to progress, costs, risks, and potential changes.
  • Participate in project review meetings to report on engineering status, address technical issues, and support decision-making.
  • Support commissioning and start-up activities for engineered fixed equipment and related systems within the industrial machinery environment.
  • Engage in customer-facing discussions to clarify requirements, present engineering solutions, and support project delivery.
  • Perform other engineering and project-related responsibilities as required or assigned to support successful project execution.

  • Experience with procurement processes and standards, including coordination of engineering deliverables to support purchasing activities.
  • Experience with commissioning and start-up standards, documentation, and field support for industrial systems.
  • Ability to coordinate engineering activities against project schedules and ensure engineering deliverables are released on time.
  • Strong background in industrial manufacturing methods and design, including familiarity with manufacturing engineering principles.
  • Experience with mechanical systems, electrical systems, and control systems in an industrial environment.
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks for 3D modeling and design of components and systems.
  • Experience with sheet metal, machining, and fabrication processes.
  • Ability to interface effectively with customers and internal stakeholders, providing clear technical communication.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a project-driven environment.
