About the Role:

The Project Engineer will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring that all technical and design aspects meet the required standards and client expectations. This position requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to develop detailed project designs, coordinate resources, and maintain project schedules and budgets. The Project Engineer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing shop drawings, managing change orders, and conducting cost estimations to support project decision-making. By leveraging engineering expertise and project management tools, the role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with quality and safety standards. Ultimately, the Project Engineer contributes to the successful execution of engineering projects that meet organizational goals and client satisfaction within the United States market.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in project engineering or a similar role within the engineering or construction industry.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to create and interpret detailed shop drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of project coordination, cost estimation, and change order management.
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with advanced engineering design software beyond AutoCAD.
  • Background in construction management or experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements relevant to engineering projects in the United States.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills demonstrated through previous project management roles.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and approve detailed engineering designs and shop drawings using AutoCAD and other design software.
  • Coordinate project activities, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Prepare and manage cost estimations, budgets, and change orders throughout the project lifecycle.
