Overview

Performance Marketing, Operations & Transformation (PMOT) serves multiple stakeholders and diverse business goals across the Chase business. Guided by our overarching brand strategy and business partners’ objectives, we lead owned channel strategy & innovation, enablement & execution, and investment optimization to drive our shared performance goals.

Job Summary: As an AI Strategy Lead- Vice President on the Channel Strategy & Optimization (CSO) team, you will identify, develop, support, and lead high-impact AI use cases that will transform the foundational processes and analytics that support our remit. This role partners closely with the channel leads within the CSO team, our Data & Analytics (D&A), Product and Controls to integrate AI solutions into our broader body of work. You should have a proven track record of using technology/AI to innovate, a passion for digital marketing strategy, an analytical mindset and exceptional partnership abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, prioritize, and lead high-impact AI use cases for Channel Strategy & Optimization, ensuring alignment with broader Marketing Transformation objectives
  • Manage pilot projects to test and validate AI applications across CSO team. Gather, and consolidate feedback to drive continuous improvement and scaling of successful solutions
  • Establish clear metrics and frameworks to measure the ROI and effectiveness of AI initiatives
  • Provide guidance and support to CSO channel teams in the onboarding of the AI solutions, partnering with them to ensure all requirements for efficiency, efficacy and output are met
  • Partner with other PMOT teams, Data & Analytics, Marketing Product, and Controls to integrate AI solutions seamlessly into CSO’s and supporting processes and platforms
  • Document and disseminate best practices, key learnings, and success stories to accelerate AI adoption and foster a culture of innovation across the organization
  • Develop, test, and refine text-based prompts for LLMs and other generative AI tools to ensure AI models produce high-quality, accurate and relevant content. Monitor and analyze AI output, making data-driven adjustments to improve the prompt generation process and overall system performance
  • Build and maintain an internal library of successful prompts and syntax guidelines for consistent and organized use
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, ML and natural language processing to incorporate new techniques and best practices
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related disciplines
  • 5+ years in Marketing, AI Innovation, or platform leadership roles
  • Experience with AI platforms, data analytics, and project management
  • Strong understanding of AI concepts, tools, and their application in Marketing
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills, with the ability to convey information simply and clearly to users and business partners
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively
  • Demonstrated understanding of marketing strategy, process and analytics
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Experience leading AI or technology-driven innovation projects at scale, preferably in a Financial Services or Marketing context
  • Demonstrated ability to measure and articulate business impact of technology initiatives
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach and passion for innovation and continuous learning
