Job Title: Welder - MIG & Flux Core - Starting Pay $23-28/hour

Job Description

Join a dedicated team at a site specializing in building large industrial scales for the trucking and aggregate industry. We are seeking skilled MIG/Flux Core Welders for both 1st and 2nd shift. Your primary focus will be welding mild steel.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on mild steel.
• Interpret and work from blueprints to fabricate and weld structures.
• Ensure weld quality meets company standards.
• Grind and finish welds as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG welding.
• Experience with Flux Core welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience or formal schooling in welding.

Work Environment

This role is based in a non-climate controlled metal fabrication shop that is clean and well-organized. Be prepared to work in conditions that can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. We run on a 4-10s Monday-Thursday schedule. 1st shift: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM. 2nd shift: 3:15 PM - 1:45 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Worthington, OH.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
