Job Summary:
Pyramid Consulting, Inc is currently seeking a Mainframe Cobol Developer with Java for a contract opportunity with an Insurance Client. The role requires a strong developer to lead technical efforts, proficient in Mainframe Cobol and Java, with familiarity in REST API and domain-driven design concepts.
Responsibilities:
• Strong developer with the ability to be the technical lead on efforts.
• Must be proficient in Mainframe Cobol, JCL, VSAM, Changeman, Git/GitHub, ESP, z/OS Connect EE, Apigee & they need strong Java tech aptitude should be familiar with REST API and domain driven design concepts.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proficient in Mainframe Cobol
• Proficient in JCL
• Proficient in VSAM
• Proficient in Changeman
• Proficient in Git/GitHub
• Proficient in ESP
• Proficient in z/OS Connect EE
• Familiar with Apigee
• Strong Java tech aptitude
• Familiar with REST API
• Familiar with domain driven design concepts
