Post Doctoral Scholar
The Ohio State University College of Dentistry is seeking a Post Doctoral Scholar to join an interdisciplinary research program focused on the development, validation, and clinical translation of digital technologies for surgical monitoring, navigation, and precision healthcare. The successful candidate will play a leading role in designing, developing, and executing research projects involving three-dimensional imaging, intraoral scanning, digital metrology, computational analysis, surgical guidance systems, and related biomedical technologies.
This position requires a highly motivated researcher capable of independently leading projects while collaborating with faculty, clinicians, engineers, and trainees across multiple colleges and divisions. The Postdoctoral Scholar will contribute to all phases of the research lifecycle, from concept development and proposal preparation to data collection, analysis, publication, and dissemination.

Work Schedule: Hours vary depending on research.
Physical Requirements: A post-doctoral scholar must be able to use both hands, dexterity in the fingers and the ability to manipulate instruments, materials, and operate equipment. The body must be able to stop and reach in order to conduct lab procedures. The ability to sit and stand for a duration of time is also necessary. Other specific requirements include color spectrum differentiation; manual dexterity/motor coordination, hand-eye coordination, physical communications; visual activity and communication/language development. Individuals in this position may be exposed to the following: animals; bloodborne pathogens; chemical hazards (skin irritants); vibrating equipment; use of sharp instruments; and latex.
