Job description

Azure Architect
Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite)
Fulltime only (USC/GC/GCEAD)
Technical/Functional Skills
• Design and implement advanced functions of Office 365 and/or Azure AD Premium including security, governance and compliance • Provide second level support for issues wrt to compute, network and storage on AWS and Azure • Strong understanding of features and capabilities of the Microsoft Cloud Platform (Security, Firewalls, RedisCache, Key Vault, Service Bus, ASR, Networking, OMS, Blob Storage, Resource Groups, NSG, Application Insights, SQL Server, Sql DB, Load-Balancers) • Design and implementation of ADFS identity solutions for more than Microsoft Office 365 • Designing Solutions in Microsoft Azure as per project specifications and needs • Drive architecture and technical discussion to lead cloud security, privacy, and compliance decisions scale, performance, agility, HA/DR considerations • Configure and manage customer AWS / Azure cloud environment • Ability to analyze systems and identify problems migrating to Azure cloud • Implement CI/CD based application development methodology using tools like Jenkins/TFS/powershell • Work with clients to ensure smooth and successful implementation, delivery and deployment of complex solutions
Roles & Responsibilities
As an Azure architect, your job is to develop solutions, implement projects, and set up monitoring systems for companies using Microsoft Azure, a cloud-based computing service that focuses on creating, testing, deploying, and managing application and service software. Azure architects frequently implement automated solutions to monitor software development, provide systems support at all hours, execute cloud migration plans, and participate in client workshops to ensure the technical design of software meets their requirements. You may also help define solutions that meet your customer's needs, create proposals for the use of Azure, present said recommendations to C-Suite executives, and design infrastructure upgrade plans. You may work directly with Microsoft employees for technical support and the development of new features
