Salary: $140,000 - $160,000

We are partnering with an organization seeking a hands-on Senior Azure / Cloud Architect to design and build a cloud environment from the ground up to support a large-scale application deployment. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of architecture, security, and engineering, requiring someone who can drive execution, lead technical direction, and ensure delivery of scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.

Your role:

  • Architect and build enterprise-grade Azure environments from the ground up.
  • Design and support a full application ecosystem in collaboration with engineering and infrastructure teams.
  • Define Azure architecture standards, landing zones, and governance frameworks.
  • Lead infrastructure-as-code (IaC) efforts (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
  • Establish cloud security practices including zero-trust and identity management.
  • Design and manage containerized workloads (AKS, Docker).
  • Spin up and manage dev/test environments.
  • Partner with network administrators to deploy infrastructure.
  • Own monitoring, incident response, cost management, and disaster recovery (RTO/RPO).
  • Drive accountability and ensure successful project delivery.

What you’ve got:

  • 5+ years of Azure engineering or architecture experience.
  • Proven experience with large-scale or greenfield cloud deployments.
  • Strong hands-on experience building Azure environments end-to-end.
  • Expertise in Azure services (networking, compute, identity, security, monitoring).
  • Experience with IaC tools and scripting (Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, CLI).
  • Experience with AKS or container orchestration.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security and governance.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.

Preferred:

  • AZ-305 Certification.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps / CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
