We’re looking for a dependable Associate Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and deployment of engineered systems and tooling that support MPW field operations. This role works closely with engineering, fabrication, and operations teams to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable equipment solutions that support industrial service environments.


What You’ll Bring

  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with hands-on experience in industrial equipment, fabrication, or assembly environments
  • Collaborative communication skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering, production, vendors, and field operations
  • Detail-oriented mindset focused on safety, quality, organization, and continuous process improvement
  • Adaptability and initiative with the ability to support multiple projects, shifting priorities, and field assignments when needed


What You’ll Do

  • Support the engineering team in the design, development, and improvement of tooling, electrical systems, and specialized equipment
  • Assist with preparing and maintaining bills of materials (BOMs), engineering drawings, schematics, and project documentation
  • Coordinate with fabrication, paint, assembly, and inventory teams to support production schedules and project timelines
  • Assist with equipment assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and validation prior to deployment into the field
  • Support material selection, procurement activities, and vendor communication to ensure project requirements are met
  • Monitor project progress, labor tracking, and equipment costs to support budgeting and operational planning
  • Communicate engineering updates and assist in resolving production, installation, or operational challenges
  • Provide field support during equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities
  • Ensure all equipment designs and modifications align with company safety standards and operational requirements
  • Support documentation of engineering revisions, change requests, and standard operating procedures
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending practical solutions
  • Maintain accurate records, project files, and technical documentation for internal teams and compliance purposes


What You’ll Need

  • 8–10 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, machining, mechanical assembly, electrical systems, or equipment environments
  • Working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical components, fabrication processes, and industrial engineering principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs; familiarity with industrial cleaning, water blasting, or heavy equipment operations preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly and accurately
  • Familiarity with industrial safety standards, mechanical codes, electrical safety practices, and shop procedures
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or move up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the workday
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in active shop or industrial environments for extended shifts of 8–10 hours
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and work in varying industrial conditions including noise, weather exposure, and confined work areas
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and required PPE while following all company safety policies
  • Flexibility to support overtime, extended shifts, and changing operational schedules based on project or field demands
