Job description

In addition to a comprehensive portfolio of Kenda brand retail products, we supply fleet volumes of wheels and tires to some of the largest vehicle manufacturers in the world. Our Reynoldsburg, Ohio, location is the site of Kenda USA, which manages all aspects of Kenda’s North American operations.

Position Summary:

Supply Chain Associate provides administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth flow of goods and information between suppliers, USCBP, internal, and external customers. Responsible for maintaining records, preparing reports, updating supply chain systems (e.g., ERP, Customs Compliance Database, Track & Trace Software), etc.

This is an in-office position in Reynoldsburg, OH.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business is preferred.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in customs data entry and/or compliance.
• Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, purchasing, or administrative role is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Professional verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues, vendors, suppliers, and customers.
• Detail orientation to accurately manage inventory, shipments, and documentation
• Analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision-making and best practices.
• Computer proficiency, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and experience with supply chain software such as FourKites, MyCarrier, SONAR, etc.
• Strong communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate daily with internal teams and external partners to monitor compliance and ensure due diligence for imported products.
• Communicate with multiple parties within distribution channels and respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with department standards.
• Coordinate with shippers, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to guarantee all required documentation is accurate, compliant, and submitted promptly for import compliance.
• Assign tariff codes to all imported products using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS).
• Maintain spreadsheets, records, and databases for supply chain operations, assisting in data analytics gathering.
• Assist in data analysis to provide insights into supply chain efficiency and strategy development.
• Support company and department initiatives, including operations efficiency enhancement, systems integration, and inventory optimization.
• Provide additional administrative support as needed.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

• Primarily office-based, with potential occasional travel to vendors and/or manufacturing sites.
• Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, though some evening or weekend work may be required.
