The role requires deep expertise acrosssocial, creators,e-retail,digitalmedia (programmatic, paid social, VOD,GEO, and emerging channels),offline media (OTV, PTV, OOH)as well as command of modern practices including first-party data strategy,cookie lessmeasurement, data clean rooms, AI-driven media planning and optimization, ad tech, tracking, and attribution.

The Director alsoinfluencesadtech and media agency managementfor marketing services,ownsmediabillingcontrol, while serving as the guardian of data privacy standards across all markets. Reporting to the LAC Senior Director of Media, Digital and Content, this leader partners with marketing, business leads, agencies, and local, regional, and global media teams to drive high-visibility campaigns and marketing initiatives. Beyond leading strategy, analytics, and omni-channel execution, the Directoris responsible fordeveloping and mentoring a high-performing media team, building regional capabilities, and translating Visa's marketingservicesgoals into integrated media plans that deliver measurable business impact. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, a test-and-learn mindset, and exceptional communication and leadership skills.
Essential Functions:
Strategy & Leadership
Lead the regional performance and omni-channel media strategy across LAC for digital and offline media (programmatic, search, social, VOD, TV, OOH), including strategy, technology stack, governance, processes, negotiation, and billing.
Own the regional media technology roadmap and stack (AI,DSP, DMP/CDP, and first-party data infrastructure), setting standards and governance across markets.
Act as the seniorleadcontact for media strategy across the region, interfacing with global, regional, and local teams, partners, and agencies.
