Quick Facts Location: Baton Rouge, LA Start Date: Immediate or negotiated Duration: Permanent placement Shift: Monday-Friday; clinic hours 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Hours/week: Full-time (40 hours) Employment Type: Permanent, full-time License/Certs: Active supervising physician license required Experience: Experience in non-invasive cardiology preferred but not specified Pay & Benefits Pay package: Discussed upon application Benefits: Competitive salary, flexible scheduling, professional growth opportunities What You’ll Do Provide inpatient care and conduct hospital rounds every 5-6 weeks Perform patient consultations and follow-up care Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and coordinate care with imaging/testing teams Review diagnostic studies ordered at outpatient clinics Communicate effectively with referring providers Travel to hospital sites for on-site visits and follow-ups Manage a panel of patients in outpatient clinics Monday-Friday Support clinic operations and patient follow-up when not on hospital service What You Need Required: Active supervising physician license in Louisiana Ability to be added as a locum tenens supervising physician for Physician Assistants Strong communication and clinical skills Preferred: Prior experience in non-invasive cardiology preferred but not mandatory About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, specializing in comprehensive non-invasive cardiology care.
