What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Human Resources professional, and why are they important?

To thrive in Human Resources, you need a solid understanding of employment law, talent management, and organizational policies, usually backed by a degree in HR, business, or a related field. Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS), payroll software, and certifications like SHRM-CP or PHR is highly valuable.
